ABSTRACT:

The hospitality industry is one of the largest and fastest-growing industries in the world, encompassing a wide range of businesses including hotels, restaurants, bars, and other hospitality-related services. Technology has had a significant impact on industry, changing the way in which businesses operate, interact with customers, and compete with one another. This paper explores the challenges and opportunities that technology presents to the hospitality industry. One of the main challenges facing industry is the need to adapt to new technologies and embrace digital transformation. Many businesses are struggling to keep up with the pace of technological change, and risk falling behind their competitors if they fail to adopt new technologies. However, by embracing new technologies, businesses can unlock a range of opportunities, such as improving efficiency, enhancing the customer experience, and reducing costs. Another challenge presented by technology is the potential impact on employment. As businesses automate processes and introduce new technologies, there is a risk that jobs may be lost, particularly in areas such as customer service and housekeeping.
