Law Audience® is an online legal platform and a registered trademark under class 41 which is aimed at spreading the online legal education and other opportunities related to the field of law among the legal audience as much as possible. It was introduced on the 25th of June 2018. It is an independent project, started by its founder and does not receive any funding from any person or organisation or body or government as the case maybe. ABOUT COMPETITION:
In an era where the pace of change consistently challenges the foundations of law, the ability to think clearly, reason deeply, and write judiciously has never been more essential. Courts today do more than adjudicate disputes—they shape public confidence, protect constitutional values, and translate complex legal principles into accessible justice. At the heart of this process lies the judgment: a document that reflects not only legal acumen, but also fairness, logic, and societal awareness.
The “Fast Forward Justice and Law Audience’s 1st National Online Judgement Writing Competition 2026”, is envisioned as a platform that celebrates and cultivates this very craft. This initiative recognizes that judgment writing is not a mechanical exercise, but an intellectual and ethical endeavor—one that demands precision, empathy, and a firm grasp of the rule of law. By simulating real judicial challenges, the competition invites participants to step into the role of decision-makers and engage with law as it is lived, debated, and evolved.
This competition seeks to bridge the gap between legal theory and judicial practice by encouraging participants to analyze facts, apply legal principles, and articulate reasoned conclusions with clarity and conviction. It aims to nurture the next generation of legal thinkers who understand that every judgment carries consequences beyond the page—impacting individuals, institutions, and society at large.
As Fast Forward Justice and Law Audience takes this inaugural step, the competition stands as a call to aspiring jurists, students, and legal enthusiasts across the nation: to write with responsibility, to reason with integrity, and to contribute meaningfully to the evolving discourse of justice. ELIGIBILITY:
1)It Shall Be An Online-Cum-Offline Event.
2)At Present Students/Participants Must Be Pursuing 3-years’ LL.B Course or 5-years’ LL.B Course such as B.A.LL.B, B.Com.LL.B and B.B.A.LL.B etc. or 6-years LL.B Course or pursuing LL.M or Ph.D or Post Doctorate in Law;
3)In One Team, Not More Than 2 Participants Are Allowed. But, However, Participants May Seek Individual Or Single Participation.
4)In One Team, Participants From Different & Same Universities Or Schools Or Colleges Are Allowed.
5)Students are required to upload their ID cards on the registration form such as library card, identity card or any ID issued by your college/university, if not issued then submit a letter from your department’s head stating that you’re a student at their college/university.
6)Any Law College or Law University can send any number of entries. There is no restriction on the number of entries from any college or university.
REGISTRATION PROCESS:
1.) The Registration Fee is 350 RS for an Individual/Single Registration & 500 RS for a Team Registration.

FORMAT OF THE JUDGMENT:
1.) A cover page stating the name of the competition, the name of your Institution and the names of student authors.
- The Judgment shall begin on the next page. The first page of Judgment must contain Team Code, Name of the Court, Title, Number of the Case, Date of Delivery of Judgment, Nature of the Case(s) (Civil/Criminal/Writ).
- Admissibility/Maintainability of Petitions/Suits/Appeal.
- History and Procedural History of the Petition/Suit/Appeal.
- Issues and Points for Determination.
- Framing Specific Questions for determination.
- Reference to Precedents, Other Sources (both authoritative and persuasive).
- Decision on issues framed or points formulated or Decretal /Operative Part
THE JUDGMENT MAY BE SUBMITTED AS
FOLLOWS:
- Word limit – 5000 words (including foot notes)
- Format – MSWord
- Font – Times New Roman
- Font size- 12 for text, 10 for footnotes
- Page numbers – bottom center
- Line Spacing- 1.5 for text and 1.0 for footnotes
- Alignment- Justified
- Margin- One inch each side
- The citation methodology to be followed is Harvard Bluebook (19th Edition)
- All the Judgments must be sent as DOCX file. The title of the file must be
in the following format TEAM CODE.
ANONYMITY:
Each team will be provided with a unique code upon registration. The identity of the teams shall not be disclosed at any stage; such disclosure shall invite penalties including disqualification. The decision for the same shall be at the discretion of the Organizing Committee.
DECISION:
Decision of the jury shall be final and binding. Decision of the Organizing Committee shall be binding in interpretation of any rules or for any query or otherwise. Details of the Jury members are not disclosed to maintain the confidentiality of the event.

PENALTIES:
Notwithstanding any other rule, the following penalties may be levied on participants:
- Disqualification on grounds of

- ii. Breach of Anonymity Rule
- Submission of Judgments not complying with Rules shall attract a penalty of two marks
per aberration and two marks per 100 words (word limit).

PASS FOR EVENT OF 1ST MAY 2026:
A platinum pass can be purchased by Individuals or Teams from 15th of March to 15th of April 2026 to attend the physical event of declaration of Results on 1st of May 2026 at the cost of 2500 Rs for an Individual and 4500 Rs for a Team. After 15th of April 2026 late fees will be charged of 500 Rs.

Imp Note:
Soft copies of photos of the event will be emailed to all the participants at registered email ID(s) within 3 to 4 days after the event. You can also click pictures and shoot videos during the event and may use as per your discretion and tag the organizations at social medial channels. If anyone is present in the event but not present during the announcement at stage may collect his/her award at backstage. Winners’ photos will be published in a local newspaper or in any newspaper. If we do not get minimum registration we may cancel the offline event.
